let's hear it for the boys!

Before I start this post, let me make myself very clear: I love my husband more than anything in the world. Adorable, party of one, your table is now available....

Jealous girls? I thought so.

With that said, I've always been quite open (to the point of embarrassment) about the fact that I have many, many, many ridiculous crushes. From my longtime obsession with Justin Timberlake to my wee little love for my spin instructor (yes, I have girl crushes, too), it's been an ongoing thing for some time now. What can I say? I just can't help myself—I seem to find the inner dreamboat in just about everyone I encounter.

So, this week, I wasn't surprised when I realized I have developed three new full-blown loves....

When I was a high school senior, I was crazy over my economics teacher, Mr. Clement. (Ladies of CHS, can I get an 'amen'?) Sure sure, he unabashedly wore pleated olive green Dockers every day (a faux pas no man should ever make), but he was spirited...and young...and he reminded me of Michael J. Fox a la Family Ties—swoon. So yeah, I pretty much loved him every day from September 1999 to May 2000. Which is why I'm now officially smitten with Mr. Schuster from Glee, permed locks and all...

Shake your jazz hands if you think I'm the cutest thing of life!

Moving right along....what would a weekly roundup of leading men be without a New Moon
shoutout?!? Woot! Woot! Vampires...and werewolves...and whiney-ass girls — oh my!

Now I know I'm not going to convince any die-hard Edward fanatics (ahem, Martine) otherwise, but I'm more of a Team Jacob girl myself. Maybe it's because I've become a wee bit boring in my old age or maybe it's because this baby belly of mine has me coveting Taylor Lautner's rock-hard abs like whoa—whatever it is, I'm loving me some werewolves right now.

"Ugh, Bella, you're so melancholy I can hardly stand it. Wouldn't this movie be better if you hit
the road and Rob and I just stared into the camera for 2 hours straight? I think yes."

And last, but certainly not least, the newest (and most handsome) little bundle of sugar: baby Connor Geary! I have yet to meet this little man (no pics yet), but you can be sure I'll be trying to wrap him up in one of my maternity mumus and hightailing it out the door when I do! I'm serious Courtenay, you better keep a firm grip on that peanut or he's mine. I can borrow him for a few months, right?

ps. Are any of you watching Grey's Anatomy right now? Tearing up from Christmas music has hit an all-time high. Hot mess ALERT!

I second Mr. Schuster... he brings me back to the "all-a-flutter" we felt for Vince O'Connor singing "Love the one you're with" during one of his drool-inducing Touch of Class performances!

Ah, my fellow crush-a-holic. Ever since I read New Moon, I was (and always will be) on team Jacob! :) I love, love, love him...even more than pale and cold Edward (even though he's super sexyhot, too). XO

Dear Sara's blog readers - For many, many years I was reprimanded for referring to JT as simply "Justin Timberlake." Sara would chime in "Don't you mean to call him your future son-in-law, Mom?" Yes, indeedy, that crush was very real, very deep, and just a little bit scary! Hey Sar, what exactly do we call your passion for Reese Witherspoon? Didn't she deserve a shout out?
